Pittsburgh’s Day of Giving is Wednesday, October 28. Starting at 10 am EST your tax-deductable donation to The Junior League of Pittsburgh of $50 or more will be matched 50 cents to the $1 by the Pittsburgh Foundation. The race will be on to see which area non-profits will “win” the most of the $300,000 matching funds. Please take a quick moment to pre-register at www.pittsburghgives.org prior to October 28. Only funds donated through www.pittsburghgives.org are eligible to be matched. Pre-registering will ensure you are able to login immediately and give starting at 10 am EST on October 28.
Pre-registering is easy.
1. Go to: www.pittsburghgives.org
2. On the top right hand side, click Login.
3. Click Create Login located in the center near the bottom of the page.
4. Fill in the required fields and then click Register.
5. If your information was successfully entered click Continue to login.

Donate!
Starting at 10 am on October 28 …
1. Go to www.pittsburghgives.org
2. On the top right hand side, click Login.
3. Enter your email and password in the Existing Pittsburgh Foundation User box on the left and click Login.
4. On the top right hand side, there is a “Find Nonprofits” tab in white, enter “Junior League of Pittsburgh” and click Search. Note: typing JLP will not work.
5. To donate immediately, click the blue Donate Now button next to Junior League of Pittsburgh. Click Donate to nonprofit under that button.
6. Put in the contribution amount. There is a minimum contribution of $50.00. Enter the amount with the decimal point but no dollar sign. Example: 50.00
7. Click Add to Giving Cart.
8. Click Checkout at bottom right.
9. On the Payment Information page click the link to Add a new Credit Card.
10. Type your credit card information and click OK.
11. Click the Confirm Gift.
12. Review your donation and then click the Complete Donation button at the bottom.
13. You will receive a confirmation email that will be your tax receipt. Please print it out for your tax records.
14. Enjoy the rest of your day knowing you have made a positive difference in our community.
