The Junior League of Pittsburgh established a Diversity and Inclusion Committee to keep members listening and learning. We are committed to providing an inclusive environment.
The League founded the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. These photos captured some of our members on opening day in 1983. Back then, the exhibits took up less than 5,000 square feet in the basement of the Allegheny Post Office. (Photos courtesy of the museum)
Determined. Impactful. Unstoppable. The Junior League of Pittsburgh is preparing today’s leaders to address tomorrow’s issues head on. View the Junior League’s latest video.
Junior Leaguers are addressing food insecurity issues in the Pittsburgh community. Every month members participate in the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s Produce to People program in Braddock, and they prepare breakfast for residents at the Salvation Army Family Caring Center in East Liberty.
