2024 Highmark Walk

The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community in Pittsburgh, PA is a fun and inspiring community event happening on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Whether you’re a seasoned walker or just looking for a leisurely morning stroll, the Highmark Walk has something for everyone:

• Choose your adventure: Enjoy a scenic 1-mile walk or a more challenging 5K course.
• Bring the whole crew: We welcome families, friends, and even furry companions!
• Support a worthy cause: Every dollar raised benefits the Junior League of Pittsburgh’s mission.

Ready to join (or support) the fun? Registration or donation is easy! Head over to the Junior League’s Highmark Walk homepage and sign up or donate today. Walkers who donate $30 or more will receive a free commemorative t-shirt.

P.S. Rain or shine, the Highmark Walk is on! Don’t forget to wear comfortable clothes and sensible shoes. We encourage you to wear your Junior League gear if you have it, or show your team spirit with the color red!

2023 Highmark Walk

The Junior League of Pittsburgh is committed to eradicating hunger in our community. Every year, we participate in the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community to raise funds to support our mission and awareness for this important cause.

Food insecurity, food deserts, and childhood hunger are persistent problems in Pittsburgh. According to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, one in six people in our city struggles to put food on the table. That’s why we’re working to make a difference.

Your support helps us to provide food and other resources to those in need. It also helps us to educate the community about the issue of hunger and advocate for policies that will help to create a more food-secure future for all Pittsburghers.
