2023 Spring Tea

The Junior League of Pittsburgh hosted a delightful Spring Tea on Sunday, April 23, 2023. The event was a celebration of the JLP’s community impact work in the greater Pittsburgh area.

Pinkies were up as members, friends, and family—including our “Little” Leaguers—enjoyed a high tea. The event also featured a presentation by guest speakers Marylynne Pitz and Laura Malt Schneiderman, authors of Kaufmann’s: The Family That Built Pittsburgh’s Famed Department Store. The authors shared fascinating insights into the history of this iconic family and their impact on the Pittsburgh community.

The JLP was also pleased to present grants to two of our 2022-2023 grant recipients: Civically, Inc. and Point Park Pioneer Pantry. These organizations are doing important work to make a difference in the lives of Pittsburghers.

We are grateful to everyone who attended the Spring Tea and made it such a success. We look forward to another wonderful event in the spring of 2024. More details to share soon!
